Vampires are sparkly?

Okay so can anyone tell me why Edward Cullen sparkles? He could wear wear a cool ring like the Salvatore brothers (Stephen and Damien) from The Vampire Diaries. He could rock some black rimmed shades more often, like in My Babysitters A Vampire (My introduction to vampires). But in the end? All that Edward does is sparkle.

If there a reason to sparkle then you are a killer. According to him if you sparkle you have "The skin of a killer". Sorry guys, I guess only killers can wear highlighter.

Xeroderma Pigmentosum

Hi guys and welcome back! Today we're going to be discussing Xeroderma Pigmentosum aka XP. XP is a real life disease that effects one in a million people. This disease causes a fatal sensitivity to sunlight. If someone with XP is exposed to even a dot of sunlight they can get skin cancer, their brain starts to overheat, and they most likely will die. Sounds fun right? I didn't think so. People with XP are often called real life vampires, due to the fact that they can only go out at night.

Why am I talking about this? Arnold Schwarzenegger's son, that's why. To be specific Patrick Schwarzenegger. Patrick plays Charlie in 2018 film Midnight Sun, a movie starring Bella Thorne. In the movie Thorne plays Katie Price, a teen girl who suffers from Xeroderma Pigmentosum. Katie falls in love with Charlie, a regular teenage boy, and tries to hide her condition from him as their romance blossoms.

Another disease that mimics vampirism is Porphyria. Porphyria is the result of chemical build up in your body. It causes a person to have fatal sensitivity to sunlight, a thirst for blood, and skin tightening around the cheekbones that makes teeth more pointed. This disease is almost more rare than XP, and much more follows the true story of vampirism. It actually is what inspired the myths.

But who says that they're really myths? Do you believe in vampires? Let me know in the comments!

Be sure to watch Midnight Sun rated PG-13

What's Up Fledglings?

Hey everybody! I haven't been able to post much recently but I will be trying to keep up from now on. Today we're going to dive right in to the 90's and explore two iconic vampire moments! So take a seat, grab some popcorn and a fresh blood bag and lets get started. Spoilers of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Movie ahead.

To start off,  lets  take a look at the classic hunter: Buffy The Vampire Slayer! Buffy is just a normal teenage girl... unless you start thinking about her after school job. After burning down the gymnasium of her old school with boyfriend Pyke, Buffy is in need of a fresh start.  So she moves to another town, gets another tutor, and falls in love with a new boy... or three of them but who's counting?  With the help of Angel, Zander, Willow, and Giles, Buffy is ready to take on the Master and stop his evil plans.

Also just saying... The Master looks like Voldemort with a nose! And whatever happened to Pyke? Is Buffy cheating? Or did they break up?

Next on the list is The Lost Boys! Two brothers move to a new town in the middle of nowhere. While staying with their mother and grandfather the eldest brother starts to go through some bizarre changes... and I'm not talking just growing pains.  They fight for their lives, and their town until in the end only one thing stands in their way... the littlest Munster (Just kidding... kind of).  Will they defeat the vampires and find the master? Only time will tell.

A note to younger readers: Neither of these movies or shows have a PG rating. Always ask permission before viewing.

Why I left

I've been gone for a while, and there's a lot of reasons. For one I've had a lot in my home life, which I'd rather not...
